Chou will promote the EstĆ©e Lauder Companies-owned skin care brandā€™s The Treatment Lotion and The Hydrating Infused Emulsion products in his first campaign.

This will be the 45-year-old’s first beauty partnership, after having fronted fashion houseĀ DiorĀ as a global ambassador in 2023.

ā€œLa Merā€™s skin philosophy really resonates with me,ā€ said Chou.

ā€œI believe that youth is not fleeting; itā€™s timeless. With La Mer, the youthful energy of skin care can be recharged.

ā€œI am so excited to partner with La Mer and celebrate the brandā€™s belief that self care is for everyone.ā€

In 2000, Chou released his debut album, ‘Jay’. Since then, has gone on to become one of Taiwanā€™s most popular artists, selling more than 30 million records.

Chou joinsĀ Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh, South Korean actress Jun Ji-hyun and Cuban-Spanish actress Ana de Armas as an ambassador for La Mer.Ā

ā€œJay Chou brings an incredible dynamic energy to La Mer. With his highly active career and a youthful approach toĀ skincare, we are excited that our partnership with Jay will help to inspire a new generation to embrace the power of self-care and confidence,ā€ said La Mer brand president Sandra Main.

Chou’s appointment at Le Mer comes after EstĆ©e Lauder named singerĀ IU as its first Korean global ambassador.
