Max Mara announces resort 2025 show at Palazzo Ducale in Venice
Italian luxury fashion house Max Mara has announced that its resort 2025 show will take place at the Palazzo Ducale in Venice.
“We are pleased to announce that the Max Mara Resort 2025 collection will be shown in Venice at Palazzo Ducale on Tuesday June 11, 2024,” the house said in a release Monday.
This historic venue, also known as Doge’s Palace, is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture and a symbol of Venice’s rich cultural heritage.
The announcement follows the success of Max Mara’s previous resort shows in Stockholm and Lisbon. Both shows won plaudits for their modernist takes on resort wear.
In Stockholm, designer Ian Griffiths presented a collection inspired by Scandinavian culture and the region’s special place in the empowerment of women. Meanwhile, in Lisbon, Griffiths explored erotic feminism with a collection motivated by Natália Correia, the famed Portuguese free-thinker, arty grand dame, and café society star.
Max Mara’s tradition of selecting novel and historically significant locations for their shows continues with this announcement. With the Resort 2025 collection, Max Mara is expected to continue its legacy of timeless elegance, showcasing innovative designs that reflect the brand’s dedication to quality and craftsmanship.
