True Religion launches first shapewear collection
Global lifestyle brand True Religion announced on Thursday the launch of its first-ever shapewear collection.
Dubbed ‘True Booty Perfector’, the collection is designed to enhance and lift the wearerâs natural curves.Â
It features True Religionâs signature Jenny Curvy style, available in a full-size range with three washes and three different fits. Constructed with an innovative curved back yoke, these jeans act as a “booty lifting powerhouse,” delivering a lifted and enhanced silhouette, while the “power stretch” denim offers excellent retention.
âWe know that our customer loves to flaunt her curves. She wears True Religion jeans for special occasions, date nights, and whenever she wants to look her best,â said Tina Blake, True Religionâs senior vice president, womenâs design and brand image.Â
âOur True Booty Perfector collection, which was a year in the making, lifts, shapes, and enhances to deliver a flawless look.â
The collection launches with a campaign staring Anastasia Karanikolaou, better known as Stas, the social media personality and entrepreneur.
âI was thrilled to shoot this campaign with True Religion,â added Stas. âThe True Booty Perfector jeans I wear in the campaign are the first jeans Iâve worn in years that fit me perfectly without any alterations.â
Since Blake joined True Religion 18 months ago, the brand has seen significant growth in its women’s business. The company aims to bring its womenâs segment on par with its menâs by 2026. Over the past year, True Religionâs womenâs business has seen a 20% increase with double-digit comp growth.
Earlier this year, the brand tapped American rapper, style icon, and Grammy nominee Saweetie for its Spring 2024 campaign, titled ‘Go There’.
