Embarking on a new chapter in Cannes, Fendi has relocated from its former abode at 44 Boulevard de la Croisette to a more expansive and prestigious setting at number 50. The area of this new standalone store spans 510 square meters and two levels, with one entirely dedicated to providing an intimate experience for the brand’s VIP clients.
Crafted by Fendi’s internal architectural atelier, the design harmoniously merges the brand’s sophisticated Italian aesthetic with the vibrant essence of the French Riviera, drawing inspiration from the world of luxury yachting. Luxurious materials such as marble and travertine seamlessly intertwine with elements reminiscent of classic maritime craftsmanship, including ash wood and teak. Notably, these materials grace a grand structure on the ground floor, housing sumptuous fitting rooms.
Along the facade, elegant glass lamps cast a gentle glow, illuminating the boutique day and night, evoking the enchanting lights that dance upon the Mediterranean harbors.
Within, the boutique exudes an ambiance of refined tranquility, with its sleek design palette alternating between serene neutrals and blue hues, and its designer furniture. It also showcases Fendi’s ready-to-wear and accessory collections for both women and men, designed by Kim Jones and Silvia Venturini Fendi.
The first floor is entirely dedicated to a private space, reserved for bespoke appointments with VIP clientele and hosting exclusive events. This sanctuary features a plush lounge, elegant dining area, and a terrace boasting breathtaking views of the iconic Croisette. Adorned with bespoke artworks, including a magnificent handcrafted ceramic masterpiece by Olivia Cognet, as well as exquisite ceramic vases sourced from the renowned ateliers of Vallauris.
With this newest addition, Fendi elevates its presence in France to 11 retail locations, including two boutiques in Paris, on Rue Saint-Honoré and Avenue Montaigne, as well as spaces at La Samaritaine and the Galeries Lafayette on Boulevard Haussmann and the Champs-Élysées. Complementing these locations are boutique outposts at Cannes and Monte-Carlo, alongside two permanent seasonal boutiques nestled in the idyllic settings of Saint-Tropez and Courchevel.
