Former AG Bill Barr Backs Trump for President
Former Attorney General Bill Barr declared that he would now support Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election.
His stunning transformation comes just months after stating heâd âjump offâ a bridge if there is a rematch between the former and current President.
Speaking with Fox News host Neil Cavuto, Barr said that he doesnât like having to choose between his former boss and President Biden, but at the end of the day, itâs Trumpâs policies that are better for America.
âI was fine with his policies. I think his policies were good policies,â Barr said of his time serving in Trumpâs administration. âMy problems came with his behavior, which I found very troubling after the election.â
It sounds like somebody finally grew up. Pro-America policies greatly outweigh outlandish behavior. Guiding the nation through troubling times greatly outweighs personally hurt feelings from mean tweets.

Barr Will Support Trump, Better For The Country
Barr proceeded to state the obvious: that the Biden administration is burdened by a âtotalitarian temper.â
âThey have bought into the progressive movement,â he said. âAnd theyâre trying to squelch opposition and freedom of speech.â
Barr defined the Biden administration as clearly the âgreater threat to democracyâ and noted that it consists of âa heavy-handed bunch of thugs in my opinion.â
Cavuto pointed to some of Barrâs previous negative statements regarding Trump, in which he said rigged election claims are false and blamed his words for inciting the January 6th riot at the Capitol.
The Fox host reminded Barr that he said that Trump âshouldnât be anywhere near the Oval Office.â
âI donât think Biden should be anywhere near the Oval Office, thatâs the fact,â he fired back.
The comments come one week after the former attorney general hinted that he would âsupport the Republican ticket.â
âTrump may be playing Russian roulette but a continuation of the Biden administration is national suicide in my opinion,â Barr added.

Barr Said Heâd âJump Off A Bridgeâ
None of this is new information, as President Joe Biden has been the greater threat to democracy since he set foot in the Oval Office.
Yet somehow, Barr has wildly transformed his view of the coming election.
In an NBC News survey of former members of Trumpâs cabinet, Barr was clear that he would not support the former Presidentâs return to the White House.
âI have made clear that I strongly oppose Trump for the nomination and will not endorse Trump,â Barr previously said.
When asked what he might do if Trump wins the nomination and takes on Biden again in 2024, he injected a bit of humor with a play on words.
âIâll jump off that bridge when I get to it,â Barr quipped.
It seems instead that Barr just came to his senses. Trump is the presumptive nominee. Itâs now time to choose the better leader, and he knows it.
Trump has referred to Barr as âslow, lethargic,â and accused him of being more interested in âbeing accepted by the corrupt Washington Media and Elite than serving the American people.â
Barr was certainly slow in recognizing who the bigger threat to this nation is and has been.
