Kid Rock Says ‘Trump’s Winning’ – ‘If You Don’t Vote For Donald Trump, You Ain’t From Michigan’
Kid Rock, who has long been one of the only openly conservative stars in the entertainment world, spoke out last week to predict that the former President Donald Trump will win the state of Michigan.
Kid Rock Sounds Off
āWhat do you think is going to happen in Michigan, though?ā asked the Fox News host Laura Ingraham asked. āI mean, your home state going to wake up and decide, no mas, weāre not going to kill our auto industry with EVs, and heās going to win it.ā
Kid Rock held nothing back with his response.
āTrumpās winning. Trumpās winning Michigan. I mean, the auto workers are smart enough to know that EVs mean youāre getting replaced with a robot,ā he replied emphatically. āTheyāre smart enough to know that. Everyone has Google.com. They can search it, whatever, like they know that this is coming.ā
āYou know, I applaud what Elon Musk is doing. I think that guy is a genius,ā Kid Rock continued. āBut in terms of Michigan, weāre going to make cars where weāre going to keep the industrial revolution alive. And we might have to innovate and go past that where things are going now. Am I getting off base here?ā

Kid Rock Doubles Down
Not stopping there, Kid Rock proceeded to double down.
ā[M]ichigan is the melting pot of America,ā he explained. āWhen people came from the South after, you know, the Industrial Revolution, the Civil War, this that and the other, and they stopped in Chicago, and they came to Detroit to make a living wage, this that and the other. Theyāve stuck around. Thereās been generations there, including my family.ā
āIām going to do the opposite,ā Kid Rock concluded. āIām going to do the opposite of Biden. I mean, if you donāt fight ā if you donāt vote for Donald Trump, you aināt from Michigan.ā

Kid Rock Defends Trump
In this same interview, Kid Rock defended Trumpās music taste as being āfreakinā the best.ā
ā[Trumpās] got so many good songs playing,ā he said. āItās a playlist I would play. Iāve heard of āHouse of the Rising Sun.ā Iāve even heard Springsteen songs, you know, Elvis, Elton John, and then thereād be these patriotic tunesā¦ āĀ
āItās awesome ā freakinā the best,ā he added of Trumpās music taste. āHow cool is it that heās jamming out to music, having a good time ā and by the way, heās playing a lot of artists that probably donāt agree with his politics, to put it lightly, but what does that say about him as a man?ā
Kid Rock has long been one of the only celebrities to publicly stand by Trump, and the two of them have developed a close personal friendship. Back in December, Kid Rock described Trump as the āToughest son of a b**** on Earth.ā
āHeās doing great, heās incredible,ā Kid Rock said of Trump, according to WPDE. āI love spending time with him, getting to know him. I think if you look at his track record and who he is as a whole, thereās a lot more good there than anything.ā
Kid Rock should be applauded for continuing to stand by his good friend Trump despite all of the pressure from the entertainment world to abandon the former president. If only there were more celebrities out there who had the guts to do the same thing!
