Ethnic wear brand Sai Silks Kalamandir Limited will launch its new silver jewellery label Rasamayi at its flagship store in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The brand will launch its new product division with a collection of traditional designs.
“We are thrilled to embark on this exciting journey into the world of ethnic silver jewellery,” said Sai Silks Kalamandir Limited’s managing director Prasad Chalavadi in a press release on March 26. “Our customers have always looked up to us for unparalleled quality and elegance, and with the introduction of Rasamayi, we aim to exceed their expectations yet again.”
Sai Silks Kalamandir has decided to step into silver jewellery in response to growing consumer demand for the category. The business plans to leverage its decades of experience in the Indian fashion industry to connect with shoppers looking for statement ethnic jewellery.
Rasamayi’s debut collection will feature bracelets, rings, necklaces, and earrings among other designs. Each product is manufactured to continue India’s cultural heritage, according to the brand, and featured detailed and intricate craftsmanship.
Sai Silks Kalamandir Limited runs four different clothing brands comprising Kalamandir, Varamahalakshmi Silks, Mandir, and KLM Fashion Mall. The business caters to men, women, and children and retails both ethnic and western wear.
In the 2023 financial year, the business reported a sales total of Rs 1,351 crore with profits after tax of Rs 97.6 crore. Sai Silks Kalamandir today counts 60 stores across India.
