WHP Global partners with Dray Indústria e Comércio for Lotto Brand in Brazil
Global brand management firm WHP Global announced on Tuesday a new long-term license agreement with Dray Indústria e Comércio, to expand the Lotto brand in Brazil.
As part of the partnership, Dray will gain the exclusive rights to develop, manufacture, promote, and distribute the brand across the South American country. The launch of Lotto products in Brazil is slated for the second half of 2024. The product lineup will include a range of footwear, apparel, accessories, and sports equipment.
“By merging Lotto’s historic legacy with Dray’s extensive experience in the Brazilian footwear and sportswear market, we are poised to create a powerful partnership that will resonate deeply with consumers,” said Rudemar Dobronz, director of Dray Indústria e Comércio.
Lotto, an iconic Italian sports brand founded in 1973, is celebrated for its performance-driven footwear, apparel, and accessories, easily recognizable by its distinctive logo of a tennis court over a soccer field. The brand boasts a rich history in soccer, having been worn by top professional teams like A.C. Milan and Juventus F.C., as well as legendary players such as Dino Zoff, Ruud Gullit, and Andriy Shevchenko.
Currently, Lotto products are available in over 100 countries, worn by more than 40 soccer teams, over 300 professional soccer players, and upwards of 200 professional tennis players.
Margaret Kivett, SVP of WHP Global’s athletic vertical, added, “Partnering with Dray to bring Lotto products back in a meaningful way to Brazil, a country passionate about soccer, is an exciting opportunity. We are thrilled to connect with Brazilian consumers and offer them high-quality athletic gear that embodies the spirit of the game.”
